SFTP Plugin: problems with low quality (wi-fi) connection

Post by *marek.erban »

I use SFTP plugin version 1.02

1) sometimes I see error writing to target file, but I think problem is with reading from file from remote SFTP server. Can you check that error reportings?
2) if connection is lost is not possible to continue. Usually I must exit from Total Commander and execute it again (sometimes it helps). Can you implement some (auto)reconnecting? It would be useful if connection is broken while copying ask user if he wants to retry operation and continue.
3) can you add some "Keep-alive" connection option?

can I download source code of this plugin anywhere? I can try to repair/update it ;)

1) This is possible because the errors reported by OpenSSH aren't always clear (e.g. "Access denied").
2) Can you describe how to simulate this scenario? Does the server go offline, or the internet connection of your phone/tablet, or something else?

2) this is problem of connection. Simulation is very easy: connect to the SSH server through wifi, start copying big file (from SSH server to local) and walk away from wifi access point.
