Hi!
I want to access a ftp server in my home network which is not forwarded to an external port of my modem.
Thefore I installed VX ConnectBot on an unrooted Samsung Galaxy Tab3 (Intel-processor) using socks port forwarding. With firefox I can access all http servers in my home network from outside over socks.
With TC2.05B3 and the FTP2.04 plugin I am trying to get access also to all ftp servers, but it fails while downloading the directory with the LIST command without any error message, and returns again to the plugin root directory.
-Socks connection works.
-ftp login works.
-Executing the LISTcommand seems not to work.
The ftp-socks connection only works on the computer running the ssh server when I am using localost or 127.0.0.1 in the address field. Using the local ip address of the localhost forces again the same behaviour.
Is there any hint to overcome this?
Regards.

The FTP plugin does support SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies. In the connection settings, choose "Add new firewall", then choose SOCKS4 OR SOCKS5 and the server address, username, and password (if needed). You may also test with and without passive mode. Both are supported over SOCKS proxies, but the server may not understand both.
