Tutorial for Android version + screens

Post by *ovidiu »

I feel really foolish but I don't understand how to use the plugins.
I installed a few but can't make any progress with any.

I open TC I see a left pane and I can switch to the right pane and below my 2 sdcards I see the plugins (I think) i.e. there is a list: Drive,FTP, LAN, SFTP those are the plugins I installed but I cannot click on any of them.

So how do I setup new connections i.e. ftp, Google drive, etc?

You can open them just like normal folders. They usually have an entry "New connection" to specify the server settings. Once you have created a connection, tap on it to connect. Then you can copy files between the two panels, e.g. between local storage and plugin, or between two plugins.

Thanks for your reply but without being able to post a screen shot here (I am told I am not allowed) I can't explain further.

As I said:
I open TC I see a left pane and I can switch to the right pane and below my 2 sdcards I see the plugins (I think) i.e. there is a list: Drive,FTP, LAN, SFTP those are the plugins I installed but I cannot click on any of them.

I don't see any options to create new connections, hence my request for screen shots or a video tutorial :-(

but I cannot click on any of them.
Have you tried NOT tapping on the icon but on the text?

Yes of course I did that, I also tried tapping and long-pressing to no avail. had a look at catlog and didn't find any total commander entries.
