Delete TCUP but Keep Button Bar & Settings?

Post by *halco »

I've been using TCUP but I find I really don't have any use for the extras so I'd like to uninstall it and just use good ole plain TC. However, I have put quite a bit of time and effort into setting up my button bar and shortcut keys. Is there any way to keep those? Or at least the button bar?

Edit: I use two button bars, btw. There is button on each that allows me to switch between the two.

Thanks much!

Search the *.bar files from your TCUP installation or on your applications files
and save them.
After installing the fresh TC copy them back and use the config to open your main bar.

To save your shorcut keys copy the sections:
[Shortcuts]
and
[ShortcutsWin]
from your current wincmd.ini file and reinsert them after reinstalling.

Look here: http://www.ghisler.ch/wiki/index.php/Backup to se more about what to back up.
