Umlaut in link of directory on external SD card

When I set up a link to a directory on an external SD card with an umlaut in its name the name of the dir is not displayed with the umlaut in the link.

Could you give me more details what exactly you did? Did you use a root shell with ln -s? Or how exactly did you create a link?

The device is not rooted.

I used the link "Benutzerdefinierter Ort" on the main window of TCA.
The app created a wrong name for the dir with an umlaut which could be renamed afterwards manually.
