Some question about the 'Drive buttons'

Post by *kofifus »

I do like having the drive buttons there above each pane however they take a huge amount of space :(

I added DriveBarHide=\- so I just have C D E \ ..

Two issues:

1. The drive buttons bar is very wide, significantly more than the tab & path bars. How can I make it the same width as those ? or narrower in general ?

2. There is a down facing triangle on the very left of the path bar, how can I add the drives (C D etc) to the drop down menu there ?

Thx!

Thx Horst.Epp, can you please explain what is hsown in that drop down ?

At first I thought it was the windows 'quick access' but pinning folders there do not add them in TC

It shows the same as you see under "Desktop" in the root of Windows Explorer - provided you have chosen "View" -> "Navigation pane" -> "Show all folders"

You will find the drive letters in the breadcrumb menu under: "This PC" (Windows 8 and 10) or under "Computer" (Windows 7 and XP).
