WDX EML

Post by *Thany »

I have a problem with the WDX EML plugin. A rare one, but very interesting to me. This one: http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/emld.html

I do believe D1P is the author of this.

My problem is as follows: when I add a column to display the date (the one from inside EML) I get lots of strange dates. Most of them are in the 1600's, and the days and months are wrong too. And the time is wrong. This is for ALL eml files, not just one or two, but every single one.

This, for example:

Code: Select all

Date: Thu, 23 Feb 2012 13:53:58 +0100
Is parsed as 10 July 1687 10:31. I'm baffled as to why on earth it would parse to a date in which every part is wrong... I'd expect at least the time to be correct, or off by an hour at most. But it seems like it's parsing something else to a date or something. Really weird.

Anyway, I was trying to feed EML dates into filedates, using the "change attributes" feature, but this isn't going to work of course.

Any help?
