Hehe, like I said in my first post, I wanted WC/TC to look and act as close to Norton Commander for DOS as possible... menus, hotkeys, colors, as well as fonts. Unfortunately though, no incarnation of WinDoZe can accurately simulate the good old 80x40 EGA ROM text font that is used in native DOS. I had to settle for an MS Sans Serif 8 point font.

One of the reasons for creating the original NC look-alike menu for WC/TC (been using it since 1998) was simply the fact that I can literally operate NC for DOS with the monitor powered down LOL! -:)

Oh and P.S., I *still* use NC v5.0 for DOS in W98 as well as on my XP PC LOL! Been using NC since v1.0, circa 1986 -:)

P.P.S. (Re: "clean") Rich likes clean interfaces -:)

Take a look to this webpage, they have freeware&shareware old style Dos fonts for Windows 98/Me/2k/Nt/Xp.
Maybe it can make your Tc looks like Nc even more (not tested by me).
