OT: Change/remove context menu entries for folders

Post by *Sheepdog »

I have created a new Context menu entry for folders:

Open Explorer->Extra->Ordneroptionen:Tab: Dateitypen (extension: no, Type: Dateiordner)
Erweitert Here is a picture of the dialog box.

When I opened it again to edit the entry I was not able to do so. There are only 'new' and 'As standard' available.

I cannot locate the corresponding entry in the registry and don't how to remove it. Any suggestions?

Forget that dialog, it is limited due to several registry settings which are rather complicated.

Use WAssociate instead:

HKCR\drive -> contextmenu of drives
HKCR\directory -> contextmenu of directories
HKCR\folder -> contextmenu of directories plus drives

Many thanks, I was sure that I can rely to you. ;)

That did the trick. I did not know that the search in regedit is case sensitive.

It is not, maybe you have checked the lower checkbox?

Anyway, better use RegScanner. ;)
