[OT] Verification for an autohotkey issue

Post by *Sheepdog »

Here I make a bugreport regardin the autohotkey command:
driveget StatusCD which returns the actual status of a CD-Rom or DVD drive.

the following script should show a messagebox that gives you the Status of drive W:\

Code: Select all

driveget, zustand,StatusCD,w:\ and closes it after three sconds.
msgbox,,,Status is %zustand%,3
When I have inserted a CD it works fine and I get "stopped" as status (and open when the drive is ejected).

But when I insert a DVD I get always the "not ready" status, even if I can already access the medium.

I got the answer of chris that he can't verify this because he has no DVD-Rom to test. So please can someone here check this please?

Thanks in advance

Confirmed, XP SP2 - DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM.
CD-R works as expected.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
