Post by *edgabel »

Installed a new external HD and it is recognized in Windows Explorer but not in TC. Running Windows 2000 SP4. Help?

Be well,

By default, TC should recognize formatted drives with drive letters automatically. Try to press Ctrl+R or F2 (refresh) if you have turned off notification messages.

Tried everything you said without any luck. I have 2 external USB 2.0 HDs. Drive F is a 160GB which shows up in TC. Drive K is a 60GB which does not show up in TC. Both drives show up in My Computer and Windows Explorer. Windows 2000 SP4 OS. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Ed

Check your wincmd.ini for an entry "Allowed=".

edgabel,
Can you see the drive in cm_OpenDrives?

Roman
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

You were right!! I edited wincmd.ini and now I can see the drive. Thanks a bunch.
