When the cursor is placed on a file and you hit SHIFT+F4 to create a new file, the filename with the cursor on it is shown (and selected) in the create-file dialog. So you can immediately start typing the new name or edit parts of the shown name.
What about implementing the same functionality for creating directories? So when the cursor is placed on a dir, its name should also be transfered to the F7 dialog (in selected state, of course).
No big deal I think, but this could be a nice enhancement for repetitive tasks, and creating either a new directory or a new file is logically the same functionality anyway, so the suggested behaviour would also be a bit more consistent...
