[BUG] Panel divider at 100% not resizable when TC maximized

Post by *icfu »

Steps to reproduce:
1. Maximize TC
2. Pick up the panel divider
3. Move panel divider to 100% while holding Shift and drop it

=> You cannot pick up the divider anymore.

Workaround:
After restoring and maximizing TC, the divider is shown again.

@ghisler:
Don't forget to also give us more divider commands:
cm_00percent up to cm_100percent in 5 percent jumps, at least 0, 25 75, and 100 are desperately needed. ;)

Workaround:
After restoring and maximizing TC, the divider is shown again.
Or use the internal command cm_50Percent from menu or button...

:) Hello Jeff !

- I can confirm, BUT :
Here, this occurs only when I move the divider to RIGHT !

- If I move the same to LEFT, I have still the active vertical strip that I can catch with the lovely <–||–> cursor !

- Conclusion :"Right" is the bad side in all

Yeah, I have mentioned 100% above for a reason. ;)
But, thanks for pointing it out again.

Pus and minus ?

 Right, but finally, this way to mark the position isn't very logical…
- IMHO, it might be :

-50   <—   0   —>   +50

- Currently, to get the full width as 100%, you must move to "0" or else, it's buggy… Odd …

I can't get the divider to misbehave with TC 6.52. Works perfectly, left or right. :?

Confirmed.

To restore the divider it suffices to switch to 'cm_verticalPanels' and back.

While Squire states, that he can't reproduce this bug with 6.52 (did you use TC maximized?) I can reproduce this bug down to Version Windows Commander 4.52. With Windows Commander 4.51 it works fine.

instead of cm_100percent cm_verticalPanels is more usefull otherwise you could use explorer if you dont need 2 panels :)
