Beep deactivate

Post by *Jqn »

Hi,
It's possible to deactivate beep on TC warnings?

Yes, I could deactivate beeps on my PC (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound), but I need it on another situations.

Use the Control Panel / Sound. There is a section for Total Commander.

That sound section you can access via Configuration->Options->Misc:Custom sounds->Configure.

Although AFAIK this does not correspond to the error beeps within TC. These beeps created by windows for particular errors (Cancel operation etc.) AFAIK.

Indeed MessageBox and MessageBeep create standard beeps, which can also be changed via control panel (e.g. Question, Critical error etc).
