Hello all,
I've always asked myself: what if I could have in *windows commander* a window divided by 4? I mean, 2 columns and 2 rows, all of them, independent of each other (a cross shape window).
Would be nice to begin a ftp upload in the 2 upper panels, and at the same time start a ftp download in the lower pannels.
Of course, you won't be able to make cross window operations.
I could send a image of what I'm thinking, if you like
Cheers,
Bodoque

Hi and welcome!
This has already been discussed somewhere but IIRC such a feature will not be implemented as TC would lose its SOURCE <-> TARGET philosphpy.
I think, using 4 panels will cause more hassle than comfort and I'm quite satisfied with the actual behaviour (I'm not against enhancements though ). In the few cases I need more panels I just open a second instance of TC.
