[BUG] File properties not working in search results on UNC

steps to reproduce:
- show a network directory specified by UNC path in the panel
- search for some files (Alt-F7)
- feed the search results into panel
- highlight at least 2 files
- press Alt-Enter, or choose Properties from the context menu
- an error message appears saying that the properties of the desktop are unavailable
- expected result: show a File Properties window

This bug does not appear on the network dirs mapped as a drive letter.
