improving overwrite dialog

The new overwrite dialog is just great. I have some ideas, to improve it even more:

1. There is an option, to right click on the thumbnails, to access the context menu. I think it would be useful, to open the files with a normal left click on it.

2. It is a nasty job, to check if the informations, about the two files are exactly the same, so what about highlighting the differences? So I don't have to compare number by number, if the size or the date is the same. (Also useful for user defined texts) I would suggest to make differences bold or in an other color. (dark red)

3. It would be great if there was an option, to automatically compare the two files in background. (Only if the size is the same.) This should be optional, perhaps with a check box similar to view thumbnails. The result could be shown by an "equal" or "not equal" icon near the red arrow, showing the overwrite direction.

Thats my thoughts of improving this nice new dialog.

2.: Support! Highlighting the differing properties of the two files would indeed be a great further improvement.

This was already suggested during the Alpha-test, but I don't remenber if implementation was not feasible or if this simply got forgotten.

I'd really appreciate such feature.

Here are some hotkeys which could be helpful:
F3 list first file
Shift+F3 list second file
Alt+F3 list first file (without plug-ins)
Alt+Shift+F3 list second file (without plug-ins)
Ctrl+F3 Compare files

You can find the hotkeys described in the help, in the F5 copy operation description.

1 Would unfortunately prevent the overwriting of the files, so better not. It can still be done via the right click menu, if absolutely necessary

2. Currently not possible, the static controls used there don't allow to color specific parts of the string

3. You can compare them, but only manually

2: so what about doing 2 additional icons near the arrow, one for size and one for date. They could show an "equal" sign if it is the same, and an "not equal" if they differ. Perhaps an third icon, for all custom informations.

I can understand the other decisions.
