Suggestions and comments regarding look of TC

Post by *wanderer »

Here are two images, one in Win2K and another in WinXP. They have some embedded comments about how TC look in those two OSs.

Win2K: http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/9217/tcwin2ktb9.png

WinXP: http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/8773/tcwinxpfr8.png

The "vertical lines" i'm talking about in one of the images is probably a background control. It would be nice if it's appearance could be altered but i'm not sure it's possible.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3
x64: Clients/Servers from Win7 to Win11 and Win2K12Srv to Win2K22Srv, mainly Win10 though.

I think what you ask could be switched on/off by "Flat user interface" option on Layout page, but it affects functional keys bar only. Why not change all bars, panels with this option?

Well, as i see in Win2K, "flat UI" does make a difference but IMO it still doesn't look good. I know, it's just a little detail but it looks ugly to me.
