As per the title:
it's rather annoying that the whole program freezes up for a minute when waiting for a LAN location to respond.
I don't think it's necessary; only the tab which is being refreshed needs to be frozen. I've got 10 other tabs open; I'd like to use them in the meantime.
Please consider it.
