Numeric sorting order also with HEX numbers

I have several files with an HEX number in the name like: ESP_1A6558_Fernseher.items

Normally I really like the "natural" sorting but this struggle with the HEX number and because of the mix the algorithm does also no not an alphabetical sort. In the end the list is "unsorted". If changing to alphabetical the list looks good. but then other folders are "difficult"

AFAIK there is no such thing as sorting filenames in HEX numerical order. Because how should a file manager know what part of the filename is a regular name and what part is a hex number?

But you can use view modes and auto switching. Define one view mode with alphabetical sorting which will be used for folders containing hex filenames. Than set to automatically switch to this view when entering those folders.

You should create or use scriptable content plugin to convert the hex into a regular number and use this column for sorting....
