Lister: show picture zoom in %, let change it by Ctrl+Wheel
For thumbnail view in the panels, we can use the combination Ctrl+Wheel which changes the scale of the thumbnails and shows it in %. However, Lister still doesn't have this. It would be very useful to show current zoom (scale) of the picture in % in place of current file position for text files (current position for a single picture isn't useful, it always shows 100%). It's especially informative if the picture is shown in the "fit to window" mode.
Also, if it's not too complex, add the functionality Ctrl+Wheel for pictures in Lister as well.

I will consider it. It's not something I can add quickly, it will require a lot of changes.

If you need this feature right now, I suggest to try Imagine plugin. It has such feature, and much much more.

Really? There's no such setting. Positioning and navigating to files (back and forth) in the list is available, but scaling is only done using hotkeys.
AkPic is able.

Ctrl+MouseWheel just works for me in TC 32-bit and 64-bit, but I admit that I'm using an older Imagine plugin version (1.0.9), though I don't know if that could makes a difference. Here's my Imagine.iniI removed some irrelevant sections like Language, StatusBar, Shortcut and the like.

Re: Lister: show picture zoom in %, let change it by Ctrl+Wheel
Its is a little peculiar with Imagines mouse zoom. You can only zoom in (expand) until a scrollbar appears, after that Ctrl+mousewheel just moves the image up and down. You can then press "B" or "Num -" to reenable mouse zoom.

Re: Lister: show picture zoom in %, let change it by Ctrl+Wheel
The zooming can also be set via Imagine settings: on tab "Mouse" set Button to "Wheel Down" (or "Wheel Up") and Key to "Ctrl" and then a command can be set. In my case (or maybe it's the default) it's "[View] Zoom in" or "[View] Zoom out". It seems a little bit complicated, but it's very powerful as it allows pretty complex things to be set.
2petermad:
No such problem here. Zooming with Ctrl+MouseWheel works regardless of zoom level and scrollbars.

I testet with the same imagine.ini file - so it sould not be an Imagine setting.
Then I remembered that I use KatMouse under Win XP, 7 and 8.1 but not under Win 10, since Win 10 has the scroll-on-hovered-items feature build in. So after disabeling KatMouse it also works flawlesly under the older Windows versions
That made me test it a little more. Under Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 it was like I described it, but under Windows 10 20H2 it is like you describe it. I have testet both Imagine 1.0.9 and 1.1.1 (under Windows 7).No such problem here. Zooming with Ctrl+MouseWheel works regardless of zoom level and scrollbars.
