/T still doesn't work correctly

The help states that /T should now also work when TC is not yet opened but it still doesn't work for me. The current tab is used.

It seems to work fine when there are already two tabs. If there is only one no new tab is opened.

Confirmed only if "&Show tab header also when there is only one tab" is off!

No here the problem exists independently from this setting.
I'm using "/L=C:\Log" /T
