Hungaraian translation

Post by *appel »

I've found a mistake in the hungarian language file:

Filename: wcmd_hun.lng

Line 29: 27="Re&dszergazdaként"

the correct translation is:

27="Re&ndszergazdaként"

Please correct it in next release

thx Appel

Confirmed.
I'm afraid, Ambrits Tamás is not reading this forum, could you write him an email?

Thanks!

2Clo: Please uncheck the option "leave shadow topic" when moving posts. While this may be useful for discussions, it isn't useful here in the beta forums. I have removed the shadow topics from the main beta forum now.

I have removed the shadow topics from the main beta forum now.
AFAIK removing the shadow topic also removes the thread itself - but maybe there is a way for an administrator to bypass this limitation?

No it doesn't, I checked in the phpbb forum before trying it! I also checked for the thread after deleting the shadow topic pointing to it, and it's still there.

I fear---

:) Good evening,

• Now I untick that option, but like Lefteous says, I didn't dare to remove the shadow topics,
I feared to delete the main thread too…

• I guess I'll make a test to clarify that point…

:) Hello Christian !

• I performed a test at this moment, you are right, the main moved thread IS deleted also
when I remove the track-topic in the original forum… :(

I don't know what you tested, but here the original thread was NOT removed! I just tested it again in the private beta forum:
1. Create a new topic
2. Move the topic to another forum, while keeping the shadow topic
3. Delete the shadow topic via the moderation page
-> the original thread remained

Maybe you entered the thread in normal non-moderation view and deleted the topic itself?

Very strange! I'm administering the Russian TC forum which is phpBB-based too, and I when I remove the shadow topic (which is actually just a link to the thread), the shadow topic itself is only removed; the main thread (where this topic was linked to) remains alive.

Of course, the removing should be performed as Christian described.

Track only

:) Again…

• No, I just deleted the track-topic - not the main thread - from the [×] button in the bar
at left-middle (not from the Mod page, though).
- Then the main moved topic has been deleted, I guess it should not…

The thing is that when you click on the shadow-topic link, you are automatically redirected into the original topic. You can see it looking at the current forum name (here it is e.g. Total Commander Forum Index -> TC7 Fixed bugs). It will be where the original topic located. So, when you press [X] button you are removing the original topic.

PS: I think, this discussion should be splitted into a new thread; it has nothing to do with the Hungaraian translation. :)
