Unfortunately the video does not play here. I get an error in Chinese about an IE5 error. I'm using Firefox 2.

Can you explain with text what goes wrong, please?

Thank you very much! Unfortunatel I cannot reproduce the error, neither with pb2 nor rc1. :(

Could you send me your wincmd.ini zipped to beta at ghisler dot com, please? It may be a settings problem. Thanks!

You can try it with a fresh Wincmd.ini - just start Total Commander like this:

c:\totalcmd\totalcmd.exe /i=c:\totalcmd\test.ini

I try put "D:\Program Files\totalcmd7pb2\TOTALCMD.EXE /i=D:\Program Files\totalcmd7pb2\yswincmd.ini"in the object box(below the object position box, second tab of the lnk attribute) of the lnk file.but system return wrong and ask me to check if the path or filename is wrong.
so I change yswincmd.ini to wincmd.ini .and start TC,it seem the same as before,I'll test it with a total fresh wincmd.ini file tomorrow and to see what's wrong with it.

Here is the relevant fix from history.txt:
04.04.07 Fixed: Ctrl+Z edit comment didn't refresh comment in custom columns view when the changed line wasn't covered by the comment edit box
So the problem was that the file descript.ion was hidden via the ignore list, and a comment was added to a file with Ctrl+Z while in comment view.

Then the displayed comment was not updated when the line in which the file was shown was not covered by the edit comment box. You can achieve this by maximizing TC, and then editing the comment of the first or last file in the list.

I just tested this with an older beta version and my result is that TC just doesn't update the comment immediately if descript.ion isn't displayed. It doesn't seem to matter if it's hidden using the ignore list or the "show hidden and system dirs" option. It also doesn't matter is the comment of first, last or any other file is edited.

In TC 7 RC 5 the comment is updated even if descript.ion is hidden using the ignore list or the "show hidden and system dirs" option. for all files in the list. It even works if refreshing (focusd and auto-refresh) is completely disabled.

If this was the bug it's fixed.

Thanks for confirming the fix! Strange, it did refresh when the comment was hidden by the dialog box to edit it. Maybe you had the refresh disabled...

I tested both enabled and disabled.
