TC7rc3 - Compare by Content, Undo leaves wrong selection

TC7rc3 - Compare by Content, Undo leaves wrong selection

  • Select two files and open the Compare contents dialog (menu Files/Compare By Content).
  • Press the Home key to go to the top of the files.
  • Press F6 to go into Edit mode.
  • Hold the Shift key down and press the Arrow Down key once.
  • Press the Delete key.
  • Press Ctrl-Z. What is selected?
Situation 2
  • Select two files and open the Compare contents dialog (menu Files/Compare By Content).
  • Press the Home key to go to the top of the files.
  • Press F6 to go into Edit mode.
  • Hold the Shift key down and press the Arrow Down key twice.
  • Press the Delete key.
  • Press Ctrl-Z. What is selected?
  • Hold the Shift key down and press Arrow Right key. Selection of the two lines above remain, also when clicking in an area outside the selection.

Thanks, I could fix it. It only happens when the selection goes to the beginning of a line (without the first character).

It is partly fixed. Situation 1 is fixed, but in Situation 2 the first character of the third line is selected after pressing Ctrl+Z - it shouldn't be selected, since it wasn't part of the original selection.

Confirmed. Selecting two or more lines, then deleting and undoing it will leave selected one character too much.

I will check that. That's the reason why I ask for one bug report per message, I simply didn't notice your second report (I though that it was for the same problem). :(

It was for the same problem. The second situation is partly fixed! However situation 2 was caused by more than one bug.
