TC7rc4 Compare by content: cursor hidden/stuck, last line

Post by *StatusQuo »

Compare two different text files,
enable Edit mode, put Cursor in left or right panel.
  • go to last line (must contain at least one character, but less than fit into window width)
  • press Ctrl-right two times
    => Cursor is set after the last line
    => Ctrl-right/left and Alt-right/left don't work anymore
  • go to last line (must contain more characters than fit into window width, so scrolling right is neccessary to see the line end)
  • press Ctrl-right two times
    => the Cursor is hidden
  • press Ctrl-right one more time
    => Cursor is set after the last line
    => Ctrl-right/left and Alt-right/left don't work anymore

It's the same problem as described in another thread: Ctrl+Left+Right does not work on empty lines (which is the case below the last line). I will check whether I can do anything about it, but I cannot promise anything yet.

So jumping after the last line with Ctrl-cursor moving is intentional?
I'm wondering, because going there seems to be impossible without the Ctrl key...
The hidden cursor also feels a little strange.

It seems to be the same problem indeed, because I can't reproduce it any more after fixing the Ctrl+Right arrow problem...
