This is when you dbl-click a word (word selected), then use arrows with Shift to move text cursor selection.

Confirm.
The problem is that double click sets the caret to the position where the click was performed, not at the end of the newly selected text.

I think the problem is in different:

caret can be in any position (including mid of the word!); but when Shift-arrow changes selection the old selection should be **cleared.

Look at how most editors behave in this situation. I think, the same way would be more preferrable (because people get used to it).

You are right. Notepad moves caret to the selection end...

Edit: Anyway, previous selection should be cleared.

NOT completely confirmed.

If Cursor is already on before double-clicking, this is fixed in RC5.

It is NOT fixed in this case:
  • open lister
  • turn cursor OFF, if it's currently on (F6)
  • double-click a word to select it
  • turn cursor on (F6)
=> The cursor is placed at the position where you clicked.

Oops... I didn't check such a combination. I have to confirm this. :(

The cursor is not moved when it is off. Should I really change that?

Isn't it? It moves here!
1. Turn the cursor off.
2. Click anywhere by the mouse.
3. Turn the cursor on - it appears exactly at the place where I clicked with the mouse (if there is any text, of course).

Confirmed: single-click and double-click both move Listers's cursor position to the click-position here
(which remains the same even after word-selection when turning cursor on afterwards).

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
