Dark Mode, 'Copy a file in the same directory' (Shift+F5) and 'Install plugin': checkboxes text of dialogs is not white

Post by *DrShark »

In dark mode, the text of checkboxes in a dialog called by cm_CopySamepanel is black.

The description of dropdown list, as well as the text of dialog buttons, is white as expected, so the issue is only with the text of checkboxes.

Reproduced with both built-in English and 3rd party languages of TC 9.50 beta 5 on Vista 32-bit using classic theme.

Edit: the same issue with checkbox of Install plugin from archive dialog, details in post below.
Edit 2: third dialog with black text checkbox is in a copy file to same-name dir dialog, post with details.

Maybe it's a Vista thing. I can reproduce it in TC started with clean ini (with following switch to Dark Mode), for both Shift+F5 dialogs called for file and directory ("Rename each file separately" checkbox is available only if at least 1 directory or 2+ files are selected in panel where Shift+F5 dialog is called).

The same issue is also with "Confirm overwrites" checkbox of a dialog to set location of plugin which is going to be installed, this dialog appears on try to install new plugin when entering archive with it.

Yet another black text checkbox is called "Don't show this message in future sessions" from "WARNING!" dialog which appears when we're trying to copy a file to a target where a subfolder with a name of this file already exists:

Code: Select all

---------------------------
WARNING!
---------------------------
A directory with the name
<path\name>
already exists.

Do you want to copy the file/dir to this subdirectory?
[ ] Don't show this message in future sessions

These are all the same dialog boxes: an edit box or combobox plus 1-3 checkboxes. They should all be fixed in beta 6.

I can confirm both fixes, checked in TC 9.50 beta 6 with dark mode enabled on Vista 32-bit with classic theme.
