TC95RC1: Abort BTM copy may deactivate TC window

Post by *DrShark »

For what seems to be a bug which originally mentioned as second issue here, it seems I found a way to reproduce it:

1. Start TC with default ini (To make it easier to reproduce following, you can also then set TC main window to "restored" state and place in near a place where BTM window will appear, and save that window position).
2. For source and target panel it's better to choose location on another drive, both locations should have same big file(s).
3. In source panel, press F5, F2.
4. Overwrite dialog will appear. Press Overwrite there.
5. Press Pause in BTM winow.
6. Press [x] (close) button in BTM window:

Code: Select all

---------------------------
Total Commander
---------------------------
User abort!
---------------------------
OK Cancel
---------------------------
dialog will appear.
7. Press Cancel in that dialog, let copy to be finished:
main TC window will become "inactive" (you'll be able to switch to it, but won't be able to do something there).

Reproduced using TC 9.50 RC1 with both normal and dark mode on 32-bit Vista 32-bit with Classic theme.

For dark mode only, I found easier way to reproduce this:
1. Open the same dir in both TC panels.
2. Try to copy some file with F5-F2, message will appear:

Code: Select all

---------------------------
Total Commander
---------------------------
You cannot copy a file to itself!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
3. Press OK in that message:
TC window will get "active" property disabled.

I will try to reproduce it. Does it happen with TC 9.22a too?

I can confirm it has been fixed in for both dark and normal modes TC 9.50 final (as an uncredited bugfix), tested on Vista 32-bit with classic theme.
