[TC 10.00b2 x32 & x64] problems with DirectShow media player

Post by *jvh »

Hello,

found some problems with DirectShow media player while trying to change view mode. Tested with clean ini on Windows 7 Home and LAVFilters v0.74.1

[TC 10.00b2 x32 + TC 10.00b2 x64]
1. Play some video in Lister, loaded view mode should be 4 Image/Multimedia
2. Press "1" to change view mode on standard keyboard - Lister window is'nt redrawn correctly, you have to press "1" one more time.
(There is the same behaviour while changing view mode via menu.)

[TC 10.00b2 x32]
1. Play some video in Lister, loaded view mode should be 4 Image/Multimedia
2. Press "1" to change view mode on Numpad - Lister crashes

Confirmed more or less under Windows 7.

I can only confirm this for 32bit TC 10 b2.

No problem with Windows XP 32-bit and "default system filters".
Crash for Num+1 for "recommended filters (LAV, ffdshow)". What is more, in the latter case the lister background stays black as it was set for player.

This bug gave me a lot o troubles. In the end I had to not handle the key press immediately, instead use PostMessage to send a message to Lister to handle it after a small delay...
