Hmm, could be a theming problem - looks like the button gets back focus for a short time after clicking on it.

Confirmed!
Best to see with previous maximized dialog:
Use ALT+F7.
Maximize the search dialog.
Close it and reopen it with ALT+F7.
Dialog is first maximized to full screen, and then resized.
Effect is also provable with TC6.55.
Themed or classic design has no influence.
Maybe a faster machine or a slower TFT monitors can conceal the effect.
(WinXpSp2, Athlon XP 1700+, nVidia AGP graphics card with CRT)
Kind regards
Holger

The problem don't happen when don't exist the options for window position&size of search window in wincmd.ini
The problem, if you execute a new search the values in wincmd.ini are established again.
Code: Select all
SearchX=
SearchY=
SearchDX=
SearchDY=
SearchMax=

Is it really a problem? The button really gets the focus for a short time, so it would be very difficult to find a workaround here...

Search flashes
Mmmh, seems that i mixed up two different effect's viewable in krstatzar video. Sorry for the confusion.
I agree the button flash isn't a big problem, but the flashing dialog (looks like the "search result" panel is visible for a short time, before the search dialog shrinks his size) is actual more annoying.
Kind regards
Holger

Re: Search flashes
My point was on that issue . I tried beta copy at work and it is visible only if the search dialog is maximized (3ghz cpu ,512 MB of ram)HolgerK wrote:Mmmh, seems that i mixed up two different effect's viewable in krstatzar video. Sorry for the confusion.
