Configuration -> Misc -> Command edit box...

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

...cannot be edited freely although it gives the impression.
It would be nice to be able to enter commands there directly, also a reset hotkey for "Default command (no remapping)" would be nice.

Did you know that pressing the DOWN key opens the command selection dialog?

a reset hotkey for "Default command (no remapping)" would be nice.
Would be nice. The BACKSPACE key should be used for this.

Now I know, thanks! :)

Not documented in help file. Do we have a container where help file flaws are collected? So much requests, bug reports and no bug tracker. It starts to get difficult to keep track. ghisler wants to update the help file if noise gets less and users don't know what info he has already.

I agree, yep. Also the box should autoreset when content is deleted.
