Scrolling using the wheel button doesn't work in branch v...

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Scrolling using the wheel button doesn't work in branch v...

Post by *jonerez »

Scrolling using the mouse wheel button doesn't work in branch view with lots of files.

I did branch view in a main directory, which has many subdirectories and a total of 80,000 files, and the wheel button scrolling doesn't work.

It could be that scrolling doesn't work anyway in a directory with 80,000 files. Unfortunately I don't have such a directory in order to test it.

I'm using TC 7pb2. Haven't tested it on earlier versions.

Works OK

:) Hello, welcome aboard !

• I cannot confirm displaying my whole boot-disk as Branch View…

- The mouse-wheel scrolls the files.

• Aside, I ought say you that Branch View is not specially designed for such numerous files, it takes ages to get it…

- But testing that, I discovered another hitch I'll post soon ;)

 Kind regards,
Claude

Ok, this is the same bug.

I did a search for "mouse wheel", and not "scroll wheel". :)

Thanks. :)

Actually, I used branch view on the root of my music+video collection, and aside from the scroll wheel not functioning it was very useful.
