TC 9.5b5 - Items for dirs in Directory hotlist menu are not marked if quoted

To reproduce:
Make an entry in the Directory hotlist with the command:

Code: Select all

cd c:\windows\

Press Ctrl+D and click the item.
You are taken to c:\windows - as expected.
Press Ctrl+D again - the item is marked in the menu - as expected.

Now change the entry to:

cd "c:\windows\"

Press Ctrl+D and click the item.
You are taken to c:\windows - as expected.
Press Ctrl+D again - the item is NOT marked in the menu - unexpected.

I prefer to leave it as it is because some people may be relying on this behaviour - it's nice to have the choice.

OK - you got a point. But maybe a hint in the Help, that quoting prevents folder detection...
