b6 Missing the 2nd progress bar

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

b6 Missing the 2nd progress bar

Post by *scegg »

Sometimes, when I try to copy files from my nas through SMB, the progress bar for total is missing.

Last time, it happened like this way.
1 reported nas link is disconnected (dont know whether this is relevant or not)
2 after selecting overwrite manually, it resumed normally, with 2 progress bars.
3 send this operating to background, only 1 progress bar is visible.
4 send it back to foreground, still with only one bar.

Did you wait long enough to observe copying of more than one file? The second bar may be visible again when TC starts copying the next file.
Can you map your network drive to a drive letter (for example N:) and test copying from mapped drive N: to local drive E:?
Have you observed the same the same actions for copying between local drives only?

TC shows only one progress bar when it only sees one file selected. If only one folder is selected, it looks inside for the number of files. Is the access to the folder restricted somehow?
