Lister autodetects SHA checksum-files as binary with fixed line length.This can make reading the content a bit harder.

Does any name on the file list contain non US-ASCII characters (accented letters, emoji etc.)?

This happens when
1. You only create a checksum for a single file
and
2. You use the Unix format.
Then the file only contains a single line break character. TC only detects files as text which contain at least two CR or LF characters.
