copy - define selection - disable unusable items

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

copy - define selection - disable unusable items

Post by *Evds »

tcmd 9.51 rc4

F5 (to open the copy dialog), F8 (to open the define selection dialog).
In the "define selection" dialog "Search in" is disabled because it makes no sense when we want to define the selection of files we want to copy.

But the "search in subdirectories" dropdownlistbox is not disabled which gives the impression that i can define the level of subdirectories from which I want to copy the files but that doesn't seem to work.

I prefer not to change this because the dialog is very complex, so I might accidentally disable it in the wrong case, sorry.

Ok, I understand.
And would it be possible to implement the feature, so it is possible to define a selection which includes the level of subdirectories that need to be searched/copied.
