Searching in network share

Post by *gizmocuz »

When i'm in the following path:
\\192.168.0.1

I cannot search for a filename.
A messagebox pops up with the following message:
"Search path not found'

Would be nice if this was working.

With kind regards,
Rob

Sorry, TC can only search in actual shares like \\192.168.0.1\c, not in servers.

Hmmm... but you know/show the underlying folders

For example the path is \\192.168.0.1
In the window i see the folders:

[Folder 1]
[Folder 2]
[Folder 3]
....

Is it possible to search in these folders?
Off course it is possible that one of the folders is restricted, but these should be skipped then.

The windows search tool (F3) is able to search from \\192.168.0.1

With kind regards,
Rob

Is it possible to search in these folders?
Yes, if you select them before.

Thanks! this works indeed.
Would be nice when not selected a folder that it will work like a normal file path... but maybe thats a 'wanted feature.

With regards,
Rob
