Hi
I just got this chromebook & am trying to copy files & make folders on an SD card.
It says it's making the folders, but nothing happens.'
when i try to copy files i get an error "error writing to target file"

i CAN copy files using the Files app in chromebook.

Sorry, ChromeOS doesn't currently support write access to the SD card for Android apps. The Files app is a preinstalled app signed by Google, and therefore has higher privileges.

Is this still an issue? I'm thinking about buying a Chromebook, which would be my first Chromium experience. However, having full file system control via Total Commander is key to me, so this could be a deal breaker, I'm afraid.

I don't have a Chromebook, and the emulator in Android Studio still has this issue - but it's very old (Android 7.11).

Can someone with a real Chromebook test this, please?
