Create empty txt file on external sd doesn't refresh directory tc3.0b1

Post by *cowboy » 2019-02-18, 04:19 UTC

If I long-touch the parent directory dots to create a txt file on an external sd card, then close the file without entering data, an empty file is created, but doesn't show up until the directory is refreshed. If the empty file is created in the root of the sd card, the directory can be refreshed either with the refresh button, or by moving to the parent, then back to the external sd. If the empty file is created in a subdirectory of the external sd, the refresh button causes the create file dialog to be displayed (moving away and back to the sd refreshes as expected.).

With the internal storage, the directory is refreshed as soon as the editor is closed.

Sorry. I forgot to say I'm running Android 5.1.
