Bug or possibility a usability issue

When I want to select multiple files in a directory and I am searching for each file using the 'Quick Search' feature (Configuration / Operation / Quick Search) with the filter mode (Ctrl+S) enabled, my file selection gets reset after each subsequent search, making it impossible to select multiple files when the Ctrl+S filter mode is enabled.

Files that are hidden may not be selected. So you should use just quick search w/o filter if you need to select some files.

It would be too dangerous to keep files selected when they aren't shown. The user could then accidentally delete or move them.
