Disks list do not refresh after USB/SD plug in

Post by *SailorMax »

steps:
1. press "Alt-F2"
2. plugin USB stick/SD card

Exp.: List refresh to show new disk with memory stick/card

Act.: User have to press "Esc", "Alt-F2" to manually refresh the list. Sometimes too fast, when new disk is not ready => manually refresh it again.

Works fine here on Windows 7. Seems to be a bug of Windows 10.

Then Windows 8 also has this problem. I don't remember when it worked for me :)

For me in Windows 10 the drive list is automatically refreshed
after inserting an USB stick.
But why should I stay in the Alt-F2 list, no need for normal operation ?

The problem seems to be that the focus gets stolen by a notification window from Windows 10, which causes the Alt+F1/Alt+F2 list to be closed.
