[x64] Directories with several exe files often "freeze"and crash TC

Post by *Adriano76 »

Hi!... First of all excuse my bad english...
From 1/2 weeks I have problems with 64bit version opf TC (32 bit seems not to be affected, but I'm testing it). Some times (1 of 5 I try) if I open a directory wich contains many exe (but also zip, doc, mp3, etc ) files (some of great size) TC will hang for 1/2 seconds, then close itself...

No malware, no memory errors, no hdisk errors, standard windows antivirus

Here the log of the system viewer of one crash:

Thanks for your report. Unfortuantely it doesn't help me because it's happening in Windows itself (kernel32).

If Total Commander is hanging, could you try the free tool WhatIsHang?
