What about Lucida Console for monospaced texts?

I use it for all my monospaced tools (terminal / code viewer/editor)

Contrary to courier, you can see differences between l and I or O and 0
I can see these differences in Courier too. It's my favourite font when programming and in Lister (but I hate Courier New). I used Andale Mono during about a year in one of the programs where I couldn't change font to Courier, so I had more than enough time to get used to it (to Andale Mono) but I didn't and still adore Courier. But for file listing it's not so good. Proportional fonts are better for this purpose, IMO. They are more compact.

I agree with you. I tried and it takes too much place. I prefer Tahoma or Verdana for TC

Tahoma, size 8, bold is my preference on a 1280x1024 resolution though having TC covering ¾ of the screen! :D

I use verdana ( size 8 ).
I think tahoma is to narrow ( ..and therefore not compatiable with my eyes.. :D )

Well, Tahoma is wider than the default ones in use by TC! And I like a certain degree of narrowness as you can tell from the resolution I’m using! ;)

I remember a thread in the old forum where we would show a screenshot of "our" TotalCmd. Maybe this calls for a new "How does your Total Commander looks like?" thread? :D
Of all the planets I've been to, this one is my favorite.

It seems that TC call the dialog box font as the shell tooltip font, I wish for setting tooltip font by myself.
Others, how could the tooltip text autowrap?

d-day,

Not exactly autowrap, but you could enter a #13#10 into a string.
