Delete lag

Post by *george_w_bush »

Howdy

When TC is deleting a bunch of files and finds one it doesn't want to delete (System file or whatever), it seems to take a long time to decide that it isn't happy and to ask if I want to skip or cancel or whatever.

Is there some preset that can make this a little quicker.

I’ve suggested http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=1044 an “Ignore All Types of Errors” button as I was facing similar problems. To be honest with you I’m not really annoyed by the response time but by the fact that since you cannot really do anything on the problematic files ones you’ve started a deletion or copying process (usually of a large volume of data) you can at least make things faster on the non-problematic ones and then produce an error report.
