Few ideas for "Total Commander" improvements...

Post by *Leo »

Hi all,

Here are few ideas for "Total Commander" improvements...

IMHO, they shouldn't be too complicated to implement (judging from past
answers from Christian Ghiesler) and would improve already most excellent
"Total Commander" !!!

#1
Addition of clock into files copy window (when both running "normally" and in
"background").

Explanation:
This would help when we copy large amount of files and would give us way to
roughly estimate speed of transfer and remaining time.

#2
Addition of "verify" option for file copy/move.

Explanation:
This would help users when copying/moving files when there is 100% reliability
required (right now we can "emulate" this by using copy and then use folder
"Synchronize Dir" feature).

I sincerely hope Christian would think of those for future "Total Commander"
version(s)...

Hi all,

## 1&2 already done, though with external tools
please check here :

Thanks for info!

I downloaded those programs but since those are 3rd party plug-ins
I wonder how much trust can we put in them?

When I do stuff with TotalComander I know I can trust it 100% (since
I use it for long time I hace complete trust in it in all situations) but
those plug-ins are not made by Christian Ghisler...

Any experience with them from users ot TotalCommander?
