FTP Manager Suggestions

Post by *jpcv »

-I'd like to have a checkbox that could show me what is my password.
-When I choose to save a session that was entered by URL, the password is not pasted to the right field.

I'd like to choose between a secure mode and unsecure mode.
Could this be a new feature?

Yeah me too! I protect my profile in XP enough, to allow having plain passwords in files.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

That is no problem for me, I can unweil the password in the Ftp connection details dialog too.
What I mean is, that if I add files to the download list for example, the password is not written into the list. If I want to execute the list, I have to enter the password again, or I have to edit the list manually adding the password (this works!).
Anyway, this is all not so important, just a thought.

Yep, it kinda takes the edge out of the whole idea with a filetransfer list. But Christian seems to not want to develope the ftp client features further, ive already suggested a buch of features.

Go with flashfxp instead, its withouth a doubt the best ftp client today.

Right, TC is not meant to be a full blown ftp client. But for quick file manipulation on ftp servers at my working place it is excellent!
