Device Name listed on Drive Letter mouse-over

Post by *outspoken »

That title may sound confusing so let me clarify:

I would like to make the actual device name to show when the mouse is hovering over the drive letter. Currently if you move the mouse over drive letter 'E' for instance it will say CD-ROM, I would like to see it say 'Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1302'

This feature may already be present, if not please consider it.

Thanks and please let me know what you think!

AFAIK you cannot do this automatically at the moment.
But you could do this manually:

[DriveHints]
E=Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1302

That worked out great, thanks! Also I wonder if there a list of variables that work under the [DriveHints] section?
