Proposition for a new plugin

Post by *RomanRogoz »

Hi everybody, its my first post on this forum.
Unfortunately I'm not a programer , but I want to propose write a new plugin.
:)

Each user of Mozilla or Netscape browser, kows that organising a bookmarks with buildin manager is not so confortable.
This plugin I think, can open a bookmarks.html file and parse them in to the TotalCommander panel.
Wen in second panel will be opened parsed bookmarks.html file, you should easy copy, delete, rename, items or create folders.

The second function can be cooperation with normal folders (especially favorites from IE) and convert items from bookmarks to .url files for IE
and vice versa.

What do you think about it ?
Is it usefull for other except me ?

This is an excellent suggestion. There is already a WinAmp playlist plugin that works sort of like this.

Gets my vote!
Licensed, Mouse-Centric, moving (slowly) toward Touch-centric

For IE, do something directly under the FAVORITES folder is easy.

You cannot use Total Commander to sort these url files. You can just rename, delete, copy and move items. The order is stored in the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Favorites

Is there any to change the order of a (virtual) directory content in Total Commander?
