Feed 'Find Files' Results in a list Box and then what

Post by *huub »

Hello TCFriends ,

Find Files [Alt-F7] results, may be fed to a listbox, so you can zip selected files easy or delete|move|copy them somewhere. 8)

The Old Norton Commander offered something to create a batch file from such a list. You could then save the list, and an opportunity was given to treat the filename as part of a commandline, so to complete the line with the filename to a command line

I cannot save the result list already can i :?:

It would add something to the existing possibilities of the commandline
e.g. [face=courier] for /R %I in (*.*_foo.jpg) do c:\xnview\nconvert -resize 35% %I[/face]
if i was to find a group of files by a word pattern.

or maybe is would suffice if the typed command line would work on the list, instead of the inactive panel

well, what do you say?

i tried to download that, but fileburst seems to bee buzzy

i found a solution in the start menu

Command : notepad.exe
Parameters : %L

This loads this CMD file in the temporary directory in notepad, so i can save it. Textpad is the better option of course.

a propos %L parameter
I can't figure out how to use this with a command + parameters around it

Try the makebat plugin instead! It can create one or multiple lines for each selected file!
